Erica’s Bio

Hello Eden Family, 👋 my name is Erica.

After encountering significant health challenges in 2021, physically, mentally, and emotionally, I began my journey with yoga to solve my health issues. As a previous cheerleader, long-distance runner, CrossFit go-er, boxing, and HIIT fanatic, developing asthma in my late 20s and experiencing debilitating fatigue led to depression and a belief that I would never be able to get my health back to what it was. When my usual fast-paced and intense workouts seemed impossible, I dove head first into yoga - a means of re-exploring my body through breath work, meditation, and movement in one practice.

Having completed a 200-hour yoga teaching training to teach myself, I realized how much I love teaching others and witnessing students’ growth on their journeys. I currently teach vinyasa-style yoga, emphasizing fundamentals and HIIT classes that focus on compound movements for muscle growth. My experience teaching at larger studios like CorePower has exposed me to working with bodies of all shapes, sizes, and builds. It has taught me how to cue a wide range of students more effectively to get their desired results. Regardless of the type of class I’m teaching, I do my best to provide a holistic experience by incorporating meditation and yoga elements into every workout.

While I’m still on my health journey, I hope we can support each other. Students inspire me to push myself, which motivates me to provide the best workout experience possible.
